BEEN SO BUSY

I have been so busy that I havent keep up on this blog so tonight I am going to try to catch up. There are so many things to talk about from camping in the cold and rain with my 10 year old, to talking and catching up with old friends. You would know after 15 years apart that there would still be so much in common. Its like we have always been together and nothing has changed about our friendship. I will talk more about this in a seperate blog. Love ya!

We are going camping!

The Webelo 1's from my pack are going camping this weekend at the boyscout camp. I am going as a leader. They will be doing all their own cooking over a open fire and all the cleaning. It gives them a chance to see what happens as a boyscout. The weather is going to be nice so I can wait. There will be 6 boys with 3 adults. We should have fun. Talk to you all on Sunday....

You wouldn't guess in a million years

who I talked to last night. A best friend of mine from high school and beyond. We have been looking for her for years, sent letters that had been returned, paid for address checks and etc. But I finally found her, she sounds the same as all those years ago. Alot has changed in our lives but I feel we could pick up right where we left off. Fifteen years and many kids later. And you know what is really weird? Her oldest son and my oldest son have the same name. Scary huh???
We talked for about 3 hours and it felt like old times. Hoping we can get our families together soon to really catch up. Well go to go deal with the kids talk soon.

Isnt he sweet?

This is my grandson Dakota. He is getting bigger everyday. And he is a steelers fan like his grandma. I dont care what anyone else says!!!! Go Steelers!

Jonathan turns 5

Who is that masked bug man? Oh wait it is Jonathan with his buggy eyes. He sees what ants see he says. They just hurt my eyes, it must have something to do with the difference in age.

Where is Zachary?

Zachary and Mommy went to the USS Yorktown this weekend and took a ride out to Fort Sumter. Zac is on the back of the boat. Isnt he handsome in his cub scout uniform?

Colby Alan's 6th birthday. The more he blew out the candles the more they came back on. It took him a while to figure it all out. He was a good sport although I couldnt stop laughing.
